Founders, inventors, owners and managers

One company, several different founder stories.

The legal incorporation deed, the company’s narrative history and its current team page overlap, but they are not the same list. Keeping those roles separate prevents identity and control mistakes.

Legal founders versus narrative team

Both can be true: a contributor need not be a shareholder. But only the Registry Agency deed establishes who legally founded and owned the company.

Company narrative

The scientific founders are well supported

The strongest founder biographies are not copied from the company site; they are supported by university and Patent Office records.

Inventor · continuous 10% shareholder

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diya Dermendzhieva

Chemical engineer and ecologist at Trakia University. Her 2016 doctorate concerns wastewater and wastewater-treatment sludge, giving the company a credible pre-incorporation research origin.

Named inventor on BG 67650 and BG 4083. Coauthor of the 2025 rose paper.

University + patent records

Inventor · continuous 10% shareholder

Prof. Dr. Georgi Beev

Microbiologist and ecologist at Trakia University, with an MSc in ecology/modeling and a microbiology doctorate completed in 2009.

Named inventor on BG 67650 and BG 4083. Named as company representative/responsible person in the 2021 waste decision.

University + patent records

Dual meaning: their academic backgrounds support technical credibility. Their equity and inventor status also create a material conflict to disclose when company-linked research is published.

Ownership evolution

The business has undergone four meaningful ownership configurations and three managers.

Economic ownership is not the whole control story

The signed June 2026 agreement contains governance provisions that make the voting picture less simple than the 55% headline.

On the agreement’s face, the 55% economic owner cannot unilaterally pass ordinary General Meeting resolutions. This is an evidence-based reading of the document, not a Bulgarian legal opinion.

The Nikolay problem

Three public names are similar enough to invite a bad merger. The record does not justify one.

Nikolay Mitkov Mitkov

Separate legal identity

Original 20% shareholder and first manager. Exited the ownership in January 2022.

Nikolay Petrov Minkov

Company narrative

Named on the company history page as someone who recognized the business potential; shortened on the current team page to “Nikolay Petrov,” financial director.

Nikolay Nikolaev Minkov

Current legal identity

Current 55% shareholder and manager from June 2026. No reliable public biography was found.

Do not conflate Petrov and Nikolaev: the patronymics differ, and no authoritative source found in this research establishes that they are the same person. The site therefore leaves the relationship unknown.

What a serious diligence process should ask the people

The public record cannot replace management disclosure on current roles and transaction rationale.

  1. Why did the June 2026 ownership and management transition occur?
  2. Are Nikolay Petrov Minkov and Nikolay Nikolaev Minkov different people?
  3. What are the current manager’s professional background and operating responsibilities?
  4. What roles do the people still listed on the company team page actually hold?
  5. How many employees and contractors work in R&D, manufacturing, quality, agronomy and sales?
  6. Which transactions, customers or expenses are with related parties?
